Protecting Your Aircraft from the Elements

The Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport currently has three large hangars it uses to accommodate transient and based aircraft. The hangars have different amenities and price points. The Hangars are listed as “Cold Storage”, “White Hangar”, and “FBO Hangar”. All aircraft being stored in the airport owned hangars require the aircraft owner to sign an agreement with the Airport and list the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport as additional insured on the aircraft’s Certificate of Insurance.

Here is a sample lease. To apply for a spot in a hangar, please fill out the Hangar Application and submit it to the Airport Customer Service Representative at [email protected]. You will be contacted about availability and pricing.

Cold Storage Hangar

Unheated
Aircraft are stacked

Electrical outlets for engine or oil pan heaters*
Bottom rolling doors
Rate: Wingspan (Skid width or rotor arc) x Length (includes rotor arc)

*Add $10.00 per month for use of the electricity
Price Includes FBO Line Tech will positioning the aircraft and spot cleaning of the aircraft exterior.

Shared space with FBO Support Equipment
No engine heater plugs
Common Restroom in the hangar office
AvGas full service within twenty feet of the hangar
FBO Line Tech’s Office attached
